In the final section of "how the Garcia girls lost their accents" the story brings us way back to where it all started. The family is back in the Dominican Republic and the book tells of when the Garcia girls were forced to move to the united states in the first chapter. The sim or other known as the Dominican republic secret police came looking for doctor Garcia which is the Garcia girls father. after all the things that went down the Garcia girls were told to pack up every thing that belongs to them. they were not really sure as to they were going at the moment but they did have an idea that it was not a good situation.
Throughout the entire book if we were to take a really good look at the book as a whole then we would see that the parts of the book really do fit together. I think if all three sections of the book were separated into three mini books then they would not even make much sense. but i think if you piece the book together then you begin to understand the overall theme of this story.
thought the entire reading of this book i was not really fully understanding it as best as i could have but that may be for a lot of reasons. but overall i think this was a rather interesting book if you get the concept of whats going on.
